My updated AV ( avast) keeps warning me that I have the
    above virus in C:\WINDOWS\system32\flmao.dll

I delete it and I get a follow up message that says same
virus but in C:\WINDOWS\system32\(XXXX).exe with XXXX
    varying each time.

I have run the clean and scan function of my AV and it
says Im not infected. But when I run IE6, i get the
    sequence of warnings stated above.

I ahve run the latest version of Spy Sweeper and cleaned
    out the bad files.

Any help would be appreciated. BTW I cant find the
definition of the virus anywhere. I have reported it to
    AVAST

  2. Hello,

With WinXp you need to disable "system restore" before searching for and
    destroying the "Trojan".

Turn off system restore by entering "System" in "control panel". Select
which drive to turn off (if you have more than one).

After that click on "search" and look for the "unwanted".

Once found "delete" and Empty the trash bin too!

Return to control panel > system and turn"ON" system restore once more.

You will probably have to create a "New restore point" after that. Reboot
and hopefully all will be well!

    Thank You.
