"The FBI announced Wednesday that--working closely with law enforcement
agencies in Estonia and the Netherlands--it had executed the takedown of the
DNS Changer botnet, which it said was used to fraudulently generate at least
$14 million through click fraud and other fraudulent techniques.

This will impact on Google as well.

This is how Google makes their money.

Click-fraud is google's dirty little secret that they don't want you to
    know about.

When I click on a Google result link it doesn't take me direct to the page.
It send me back to Google who then redirects me. They must have logged me.
