  1. my comp's suddenly so extremely unbearably slow, i ran like 5000 ad-aware
scans, microsoft anti-spyware scans, telus anti-spyware scans and telus
anti-virus scans, tried running malicious software removal tool, nothing
different. plus ive got a real bad case of ad-aware, even when im not using
    internet explorer i keep seeing:
"winfixer 2005" or "winantivirus" or "winsoftware-your comp's infested with
a million spyware and viruses" and a lot of other bad stuff, and when i tried
going to these web pages, "this page has an error in its script: win32 is
null or not an object" and all the scans ive run, they came up with literally
179 spyware/adware and viruses, i click remove and restart comp, then a
little notice from one of my security programs says that theyve refound all
the 179 objects, and that the 179 objects are active and running. plus this
and alot of other symptoms. help, i say.

    Two phase answer...

Perform Part 1 the perform part 2

    Part 1
    ------------
    Download Adware-Virtumundo Removal Tool v1.5 --
    http://secured2k.home.comcast.net/tools/VirtumundoBeGone.exe

Information on the Adware-Virtumundo Removal Tool:
    http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=57049

    Part 2
    ------------
Download WinFixerFix.exe from the URL --
    http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/WinFixerFix.exe

    Execute; WinFixerFix.exe { Note: You must accept the default of C:\McAfee }
    Choose; Unzip
    Choose; Close

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go through your
FireWall to enable WGET.EXE to download the needed McAfee related files.

    Execute; c:\mcafee\clean.bat
    { or Double-click on 'Clean Link' in c:\mcafee }

A final report in HTML format called C:\mcafee\ScanReport.HTML will be generated. At the
end of the scan, it will be displayed in your browser (Opera, FireFox or Internet Explorer).
It is suggested that you move the report out of c:\mcafee before performing another scan.
It would be a good idea to scan in Safe Mode and in Normal Mode and save a copy of the HTML
    report for each session.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

DO NOT go to winfixer.,..it in itself is malware, you need to get hold of
spybot(free) or adaware (also free). The more you go to those pages the more
you pickup that will slow you down.
