Winpatrol found A3kebook.ini and akebbook.ini listed as hidden files on my

Plus information states they are "are hidden files that install with the
Probot SE keylogger by NetHunter Group". I didn't intall Probot. It does not
reside on my system. A search for files modified on the same date produces a
lot of hits against Skype entries. Presumably, some of you use Skype. Do you
know why it might need to run a keylogger?

BTW Winpatrol Plus information is free for September.

I've not heard of Skype including a keylogger of any sort. I know a
lot of people who do use it and none has said they've found any such

Snoopfree asks whether to allow it to run a keyboard hook - very suspicious
behaviour. Why would it need to do this?

A "keyboard hook" in itself does NOT make it a Keylogging Trojan !

Agreed but, is it not wise to be suspicious of something that wants to hook
your keyboard for no apparent reason?

fgs, I have a keyboard hook from a USB keyboard!

Skype uses hotkeys for some functions. It probably hooks the keyboard
chain in anticipation of this need. See the Options dialog in the
    Skype application.

It still doesn't mean that Skype necessary to be a keylogger. People around the world are using Skype to communicate and of course somehow they might be sending secret information via Skype. I don't think Skype will leak any important info.
