Self installed startup programs dmmxk.exe, dmiaj.exe and others

  1. Although I have active Microsoft Antispyware and Norton Antivirus (both up to
date) I was recently infected with a trojan which installed a desktop ad and
several executables. Using a combination of Microsoft
AntiSpyware/Adaware/Spybot I've managed to clean most of it. However I
notice that I'm getting some unusual executables still in my startup
programs. I blocked those that were unsigned but new ones keep popping up
on each restart. The last two were dmmxk.exe and dmiaj.exe....the technical
issues for that one is below. Is there a place we can look up suspected
spyware executables by name? Is anyone else having problems like this?

    File name: dmiaj.exe

    File path: c:\windows\system32\dmiaj.exe
    File version:

Location details: Program located in registry

    Technical Details:
    MD5: a5ae72a351540

    (snip information about randomly-named malware)

Your computer is still not clean. Although you've done some cleaning, I
don't know your method. Go through these removal steps systematically:

You may need to run HijackThis and post your log to one of the specialty
forums (not here, please). Instructions and links to HJT forums are on
    the website above.
