why doesnt microsoft use its port 135 weakness to its
advantage and send's the patch to everyone's computer
just like the worm is spreading?>

then have the patch automatically install itself into a
computer, whether its infected or not. then when its
done. it shoots of to another computer. like the virus
it spreads, but unlike the virus it would always win.

what do u guys thinK? is it even possible? soon enough
the patch would be everywhere, the virus would be

Not a problem, all Microsoft has to do is add a check to see if the user is
running the latest version of Media Player. If so, the user agreed to the
EULA which gives Microsoft permission to modify their systems, even if it
    involves disabling other software.

  3. This idea of a "good virus" just won't die and it really needs to. This is
an old idea and not a very wise one. Would you want someone installing
software on your computer without your knowledge? What if the worm spread
way faster than anyone expected and disabled the internet? What if someone
made a coding mistake and millions of computers were suddenly unbootable.

  4. Not exactly - read the EULA again.

Anyway, isn't this what Winodws Update/Auto Update does if configured
    properly once?
