I have recently purchased a packard bell laptop and a belkin wireless g router.

I have set this up ok but its currently not protected and anyone can access
my internet threw the wireless router.
I really want to protect it but have no idea at all how to do so.

Could someone plase explain how to do this.

    Thank you very much

    Have you RTFM yet?

  3. Your Belkin Wireless G router likely came with a manual and/or a CD taht
contains the manual and/or you can visit the web page of said manufacturer
(Belkin) and find the manual there - online. It will explain how you can
secure your wireless using the features of the router.

You'll probably want to setup WPA of some sort.
