    Hi!

Norton found a virus: W32.IRCBot.Gen in a file named webprint.exe. This
    was found in windows\system32.

I cannot delete it. Norton did not quarantine it. I cannot rename it, move
    it, do anything with it.

I tried deleting webprint.exe via the C: also tried using XTG.

    Access denied in all cases.

Please, does anyone have a clue? (I have not knowingly executed this
    file).

    Regards,
    Wayne

    You could try this:
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.ircbot.gen.html
    (found on the Symantec website)

    Cheers
    Ken
