Ok hope someone can help me. running a Compaq Presario with windows Vista
home premium as my OS and IE 7. I downloaded a program from Download.com that
was free. It was a dictionary program about 35 mb and saved it to the
desktop. It saved and i double clicked it to install and it installed by
default on the desktop. when it was done I saw a red book icon on the
desktop. The file size on the desktop was only a few kb as opposed to the 35
mb download.I am the administrator on the account. So I double clicked the
red book to run the program and it said "dictionary.exe has stopped working"
I went into add/remove programs to remove it and the program was not listed
in there. So I right clicked on it and hit delete and it said "you do not
have permission to delete this file" which i dont get because i am the
administator. So now i am a novice and really confused. I ran Spyware
terminator and the scan was clean and as a backup I ran Malware bytes and
that scan was clean. What is happening and how do I delete this? Any Help
    would be apppreciated. TIA

  2. Did you try the advise given to your other identical post here yesterday?
Also knowing exactly what program you downloaded and installed would be
    helpful.
