I am a bit confused. How do I know what the Norton 2004
Firewall is blocking when a pops-up shows "NetBus Trojan
    Horse." Isn't that a virus?
I also got pop ups for "Backdoor/Sub-seven Trojan"
and "Backdoor Deep Throat Trojan." How do I know if it was
a 'scan' or an actual 'virus' that was blocked? It
is really confusing for us 'older' folks. (We thought if
it said "backdoor," it was a 'scan' and if it didn't
say "backdoor" it was an actual 'virus.'
    Any help appreciated.
    Thank you.

A trojan is software or file that indicates it will or is doing one thing,
while is doing another in reality. IE: Trojan Horse

This has been muddled by many intrusions on the internet that can be defined
as various things including a trojan or a virus.

Research at the SARC site will help you on the specifics than a dozen
    replies here.
