have mIRC in systray and it dones't show an icon. it's an empty space. When
I right click it. It looks like a reg mIRC menu until i click Exit. Then
pops up a photo of some guy and a button below saying continue. if you click
it it pops up about 20 IE 7 paoges with strange sites. I click them off as
fast as I can so not to keep poping up.

    Machine is slowing down rapidly.

Is this a worm or hijack or what? What is a good program to fix it?

It's a hijack. Sadly running mirc with modified scripts which could be
doing several things at this point in time. You really should scan your
computer. Some suggestions in no particular order:

    Superantispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com)
    BugHunter (http://bughunter.it-mate.co.uk)
    SpybotSd (http://www.safer-networking.org)
    Adaware (http://www.lavasoft.com)

It's highly recommended to turn system restore off, Reboot into safe mode
and starting with the administrator account, Have each program perform a
scan. BugHunter only needs to be run once from an administrator account.
Running it per account is usually not necessary.
