How can I tell if someone is hooked up to my computer from another house?

  2. General questions....

    Do you have a good firewall?
    If you use wireless, do you use WEP (128-bit) and hide the SSID from being
    broadcast?
    Do you run Windows Updates regularly?
    Do you have good antivirus software you keep updated regularly?

    The easiest way to tell is to click on network
    neighborhood and click on entire network and then
    celect "search for computers". This will work if they are
    not trying to hide their tracks.
