Only when Defender is doing a full scan, it freezes on the file
S-1-5-21-375612493-4149289120-1296836545-1008. I then have to shut down the
    computer completely.
I cannot delete the file - message appears that the file is in use. I tried
deleting it through dos command but when I type in "dir" to see the files in
the Recycler folder, no files appear!
Also, I'm not sure that it should be deleted.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

Microsoft has established separate newsgroups for Windows Defender support
and comments. This is not one of them.

  3. There is a possibility that your recylce bin is controlled by a 3rd party
Security Software installed in your system thats why on such reason Defender
hangs up on it. Mind if I ask what AV do you use in your System?
