Oh, just for the record; as you've had a few days to sour over it...

Aardvark for the record didn't give you up. He simply told me I should be
looking someplace else. He provided no actual information on you.

Apologies to aardvark for allowing others to think he'd gave you up, but
it was funny to see your reaction.

I do have your info, Aardvark has more ethics than you credit him for, he
    didn't provide it.

Second, I'm not a cyber criminal; I don't take peoples identities and I'm
not out carding anybody. Read the article slowly.

LOL! You *are* a fucking idiot.

    Btw,

I do have friends in antivirus companies; It's far from impossible for me
to know all kinds of background things. Yes, I know atleast 2 companies
(No, I won't give you names, hahahaha.) which did examine malwarebytes
and found nothing wrong with it. I know of a well documented 3rd company
who not only disassembled the software, but they even stole the fucking
database it uses too. They didn't find anything malicious either, just a
goldpot of useful definitions they copied.
If you can disprove my claim, do so. :)

In the states, you can get it at your local best buy store. In a nice
box. it'll be outdated of course, but that's what the update button is
for. I don't know if they have outside US distribution in box format yet
    or not.

That's funny as hell. Rootkit is a unix OS term, not a native "windows

know if there was anything untoward about it?

Who could say that the shipping clerk at MalwareBytes doesn't alert

Let's face it: you have a slimy agenda towards MalwareBytes because

and I'll quote this for the audience you've crossposted this too, for
    their benefit.

We test all software products submitted to us against a comprehensive
set of criteria. In addition to screening for common viruses and
spyware, we also look for other threats that might interfere with our
users' security, privacy, and control. We consider publisher Web sites,
publisher conduct, and our own experience with a particular product.
    Viruses, spyware, and malware

We will not list software that contains viruses, Trojan horses,
malicious adware, spyware, or other potentially harmful components. We
will not list products known to contain such items in instances outside
CNET Downloads, and we may disallow products from publishers our
editors feel violate the spirit of this policy.

The following are types of software we will not accept:

    * Software that installs viruses, Trojan horses, malicious adware,
spyware, or other malware at any point during or after installation.
o Software that installs the above items via links to other
    software or Web sites.
o Links on publishers' Web sites that may enable the
    installation of the above items.
    * Software that installs without notice and the user's consent.
    * Software that serves intrusive advertisements through a Web
browser, a pop-up window, or Web sites outside the software's primary
    interface.
    * Software that includes or uses surreptitious data collection.
    * Software that collects and transmits information about end users
or end users' computer usage without adequate prior notification.
    * Software that diverts or modifies end users' default browsers,
search-engine home pages, providers, security, or privacy-protection
    settings.
    * Software that interferes with users' control and privacy.

It's available at best buy stores, in the retail brick and mortar
building on the shelf beside the other antivirus apps/suites.
Indeed, but you can download malwarebytes from known reputable sources,
    such as cnn.com. [g]
No they aren't. Idiots like you put them on a pedalstal tho. Because
this machine in front of you is magical. you don't understand that it's
all based on sound logic and science.
cnn.com, various antivirus companies labs, and one chinese outfit; they
thought so highly of what they found, they copied it for their own
    program.

    How's crow taste, David?

Yep. I had the wrong store.

    http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=52001

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is now moving into retail stores in addition
to our online sales. If you would like to own a Malwarebytes' Anti-
Malware retail box, you can find them at a Fry's Electronics store or
on the Fry's website. Note: the boxes are selling out very quickly.
Please check the website for availability near you.

Also, feel free to post a picture of yourself with the box in your hand
and post it here :welcome:. Below are a few pictures of our retail box
in our office in San Jose, California.

Do you want to go ahead and write a formal apology now?

    Well,

you can write one to malwarebytes for trying to slime their excellent
product. It's been peer reviewed to hell and back, nothing bad ever
found. A stand up fellow as you want people to think you are, shouldn't
have any trouble admitting he was wrong about them and apologizing here
in public for the comments and innuendo remarks towards their fine
    program.

You can then write one to me, for trying to provide a streetmap view of
my house, and for trying to insinuate that I was lying about
malwarebytes in any possible fashion. You may also apologize for trying
to imply I was in any way directly associated with the piratebay.

You do these things, and make it convincing, and perhaps the remailer
wont' drop the dime on you, but I make no promises as you have tried to
hurt a lot of people and I'm on the fence as to whether or not it would
be grey area or blackhat to help them make things right.

cock up? for? getting the wrong store? My bad..

point is tho, I did get the right information instead of posting in
alt.comp.freeware that I couldn't find it in any stores. Implying that
dustin was somehow lying about it.
    David,

Spin all you like, fact is; malwarebytes is in stores, and it is
reputable. Oh, and uhh, you couldn't find the stores. :)

Wow! Ya don't say... Perhaps you and Morgan should get together and write

your, ahem, knowledge, you could come up with something. MUAHAHAHA.
Well, that's the intended OS. Wouldn't be much point in buying it for a
    mac.. But, I digress.

  19. There's no reason to.

Better would be to examine what it *tries* to do on *all* systems it
could possibly run on. What would happen if they tried it on XP sp3
and gave it a clean bill of health thereafter - but it was designed to
    only compromise Vista?

You apparently don't understand how it all works at the lower levels.
