Bogus NS Records in AD Integrated DNS zone. A worm?

  1. While troubleshooting an authentication error on a client network, I
discovered that two workstations on the LAN had the required A records in the
AD integrated DNS zone, but also had bogus NS records. This caused DNS
resolution problems on the LAN. After deleting the NS records and flushing
all the DNS caches on clients and servers, DNS resolution returned to normal.
Can this be caused by a worm or virus? I can' find anything similar after
    searching online.
    Many thanks.
