AntiSpyware Beta1 - Cannot Delete, Move, or Clean gpkjnvlt.exe

  1. I have MS Anti-Spyware Beta1 on my Dell Laptop. This is a corporate issue
laptop, and the company installed this software when I experienced a virus
    attack.
Any time I do a deep folder scan, I get a message that the application could
not get rid of C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\GPKJNVLT.EXE. Clicking on
the "Delete", "Move", or "Clean" buttons does nothing except confirm what I
    have already been told.
Despite this, the program seems to complete successfully, then tells me that
    no threats were found.
Does anyone know what GPKJNVLT.EXE is, why AntiSpyware will not delete it,
and should I try to delete it manually?

  2. Google does not have it and that is often an indication of a random name
created by a spyware or virus.

    Run MSAS in Safe Mode:
    Reboot tapping F8 each second.
Select Safe Mode at the menu
If you have further questions about MSAS, you should ask them in the MSAS
    newsgroups:
    http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?ICP=spyware&sLCID=us

Run the yellow section on this link to check for viruses and spyware:
