Anonymity

    How can I prevent my email address from being harvested by spammers when I
    post a message to a user-group?

    Either don't use your e-mail address-for instance,when
    posting on the Microsoft board,use the
    generic "anonymous@discussions.."
    alternatively,break it up like this joebloggssATblahDOTcom
    or like so:joebloggs(remove this)@blah.com

    Your second example is not really a good idea as it may result in spam
    going to a valid domain:
    http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/munad.htm

    Leave the default address or munge yours:

    I read those books when I was a kid also, still have the first 23 in
    hard cover.
