Microsoft has established separate newsgroups for Windows Defender Beta2 and
IE7 B2 Public Preview support and comments. This is not one of them.

    Windows Defender Beta2 Public Newsgroups:

IE7 B2P Public Newsgroup (IE General):

Why do people install something like IE7 beta and then start pleading for
help ? I suspect they the ones that simply must have the "latest and best,"
at the cost of a perfectly functional, reliable and robust Windows platform

I think this is part of the problem of labeling this a "public beta" - it
makes it sound like it's suitable for "the general public" rather than "people
who can afford to wreck a machine with a beta test".

But then, when you're testing software that's going to be used by the general
public, you do have to get some of them to run it before release to see how
    well it works for them.

  5. Not to mention the preponderance of people who just think BETA is just
another part of the name - not a defining description of the state of the

I thought "beta" was an "omega wrap" video tape recorder, (as opposed to a
    "m" wrap/VHS) :)
....oh how times change. ...that reminds me - I've got to put a new valve
    in my wireless downstairs !
