Securing Floopy Disk - Design strategy

Appreciate if someone can guide me, what is the exact mechanism & technology
used for locking floppy disk (locking using software), so that the contents
can be viewed but cannot be copied or imaged.

That is not possible. There are ways to manage files that a user can copy to
other media or print but a user could use a digital camera to copy content
from a display screen. Using the print screen keyboard key may also be able
to bypass copy to media/print restrictions. The link below to Windows
Rights Management may be of interest and there is a newsgroup dedicated to
