troll v.,n. To utter a posting on Usenet designed to attract predictable
responses or flames. Derives from the phrase "trolling for newbies"; which
in turn comes from mainstream "trolling";, a style of fishing in which one
trails bait through a likely spot hoping for a bite.

you might want to order it for her:
if she is being logged, and she wants to dump him, you expect her to just
put in her credit card number???

I took a look at the above mentioned program, It writes the log to the file
C:\windows\system32\ctf\ctfmon.txt
I don't see anywhere to customixe it except to change the install directory.
Check here first and if you don't see it then search all hard drives for
Ctfmon. there also doesn't seem to be any password protection, just a hide
icon option. the default unhide is ctrl + alt + shift + F. Maybe you'll
get lucky and he wasn't bright enough to change it...Try it out and see what
happens...I have to go uninstall this now

Oh, one more thing, It also logs the windows you open so it will show what
you look at as well as what you type.

*Moi?* A troll?

And I thought I just suffered from a healthy scepticism derived from surviving
two marriages.

Sorry I can't answer the question you're asking, but I would love to
know how she found the keylogger in the first place. I think I may
have one on my computer.

If anyone has someone checking on them like that, either of you, then
you need to get away from that person.

The following will find and remove Keylogger Trojans.

Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe

It is a self-extracting ZIP file that contains the Kixtart Script Interpreter {
http://kixtart.org Kixtart is CareWare } 4 batch files, 6 Kixtart scripts, one Link
(.LNK) file, a PDF instruction file and two utilities; UNZIP.EXE and WGET.EXE. It will
simplify the process of using; Sophos, Trend, Kaspersky and McAfee Anti Virus Command
Line Scanners to remove viruses, Trojans and various other malware.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode [F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive PDF help
file.

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

* * * Please report back your results * * *

There was an earlier post by the person that said they didn't want to
remove it - so the person would not be alerted - they wanted to see what
the logger contained to see what was being tracked.

see what info he has about her? Any help or advice gratefully appreciated!
