Is anyone familiar with http://pestpatrol.com/ ? They are offering a free
online scan, and I'm not going to try it until I hear some comments from
others here who have experience/knowledge of this site/product.

Thanks

Jeff, FWIW, I'm familiar with it, have used it, and I use PestPatrol along
with other programs. http://pestpatrol.com is a perfectly legitimate site.
If there is any criticism of the program, it's been that it tends to find
too many false positives. I kind of used to agree with that view, but I
think they are improving the product, and there are fewer false positives
than there were just a few monts ago.

Good luck,

Ma No

Well Computer Associates, at least recently, has had a few problems and
isn't tracking well in decision making. Of course, all the biggies in
the software "security" market want to have a full suite of applications
so they can keep up with competition. PestPatrol was bound to be
acquired by someone.

Purchased by Computer Associates, the ammount of false positives makes the scannetr completely useless at this point in time. I would recommend trying the eset online scanner instead
