Microsoft XP firewall Ping test showed open port

Hi
Live One Care security check and ShieldsUp show that there was an open port
when a ping test was performed. How does one configure the Microsoft firewall
to block all ports? Thanks.

You are a verizon dsl. Is there a gateway router in this scheme?

If OneCare is installed, you're not using the Windows Firewall.
