XQ 0.998 Description
A backdoor application written in Visual Basic applicationming language. A server application writes itself to Windows computer folder, and then a hacker can get remote access to it. Connects to your PC through 1002, 1902 or other ports.
Remove XQ 0.998
To remove all XQ 0.998 files, you must kill all XQ 0.998 processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill XQ 0.998 processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for XQ 0.998, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
You'll also need to remove XQ 0.998 registry keys. To remove XQ 0.998 registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareXQ 0.998." Right-click it and select "Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of XQ 0.998. These XQ 0.998 can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, XQ 0.998 might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%XQ 0.998XQ 0.998.exe. Locate and remove these files.
