W32.Smibag.Worm Description

W32.Smibag.Worm is a worm that tries to spread itself through the Korean version of MSN Messenger. It also drops and executes Adware.Admagic.

Remove W32.Smibag.Worm

To remove all W32.Smibag.Worm files, you must kill all W32.Smibag.Worm processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill W32.Smibag.Worm processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for W32.Smibag.Worm, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove W32.Smibag.Worm registry keys. To remove W32.Smibag.Worm registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareW32.Smibag.Worm." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  W32.Smibag.Worm. These W32.Smibag.Worm can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, W32.Smibag.Worm might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%W32.Smibag.WormW32.Smibag.Worm.exe. Locate and remove these files.
