W32.P2P.Tanked is a worm that tries to spread itself through the KaZaA and iMesh file-sharing networks. The worm also has a backdoor Trojan capability that allows a hacker to receive control over an infected PC.

Remove W32.P2P.Tanked

Stop the following W32.P2P.Tanked processes:
system32.exe
cmd32.exe


Remove the following W32.P2P.Tanked registry keys:

DeletethevaluesSystemSASandCMD
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun

DeletethevaluescalledSystemSASandCMD


Delete the following W32.P2P.Tanked files:
system32.exe
cmd32.exe
