Voipwet Toolbar Description

The Voipwet Toolbar is another clone of toolbars from the makers of Zlob.Trojan malware. The Voipwet Toolbar is designed to perform similarly to the previous Hdtip Toolbar by displaying pop-ups, fake warnings and alert messages in its attempts to goad you into purchasing a promoted rogue anti-spyware program. The Voipwet Toolbar includes 4 icons at the top of a search page query section: Remove Popups, Scan Spyware, Security Test, & Spam Protection. The Voipwet Toolbar includes a thin yellow bar that appears on top of search page. The Voipwet toolbar issues the following notification: “Warning: possible spyware or adware infection! Click here to scan your computer for spyware and adware”. However, any messages generated by the Voipwet toolbar shouldn’t be trusted and this toolbar is advised to be removed immediately.

Remove Voipwet Toolbar

To remove all Voipwet Toolbar files, you must kill all Voipwet Toolbar processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Voipwet Toolbar processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Voipwet Toolbar, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Voipwet Toolbar registry keys. To remove Voipwet Toolbar registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareVoipwet Toolbar." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Voipwet Toolbar. These Voipwet Toolbar can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Voipwet Toolbar might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%Voipwet ToolbarVoipwet Toolbar.exe. Locate and remove these files.
