Vig.c Description

Vig.c is a relatively harmless virus, which copies infected files to few local hard drives and floppy disks. It does not carry any destructive payload and has no additional functionality. Vig.c automatically runs on every Windows startup. Its activity may cause general computer instability issues.

Remove Vig.c

Stop the following Vig.c processes:
informe.exe
winnt.exe


Remove the following Vig.c registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunSymantec
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunMCafee
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunMCafeeUpdate
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunSymantecUpdate
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunUpdate
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunUpdateMCafee
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunUpdateSymantec


Delete the following Vig.c files:
informe.exe
winnt.exe
