VBS.Zulu Description
VBS.Zulu is a worm written in Visual Basic language. It was created in 1999. It harms mostly Windows 2000 and Windows NT computers. The worm also writes its information to the registry.
Remove VBS.Zulu
To remove all VBS.Zulu files, you must kill all VBS.Zulu processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill VBS.Zulu processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for VBS.Zulu, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
You'll also need to remove VBS.Zulu registry keys. To remove VBS.Zulu registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareVBS.Zulu." Right-click it and select "Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of VBS.Zulu. These VBS.Zulu can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, VBS.Zulu might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%VBS.ZuluVBS.Zulu.exe. Locate and remove these files.
