Talorm Description

Worm Talorm is a simple Internet spyware, which spreads by e-mail and via IRC channels. It comes as an attachment to infected messages. Once executed it can change some computer settings and show a message window. It also modifies settings of the mIRC chat client and distributes itself using this client and Microsoft Outlook e-mail application.

Remove Talorm

To remove all Talorm files, you must kill all Talorm processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Talorm processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Talorm, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Talorm registry keys. To remove Talorm registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareTalorm." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Talorm. These Talorm can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Talorm might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%TalormTalorm.exe. Locate and remove these files.
