ScreenScenes Description

ScreenScenes is an advertising-supported application that offers a collection of different screensavers. The software doesn't pose any harm by itself. However, it downloads and runs main components of GAIN adware. ScreenScenes must be manually installed. It includes a functional uninstaller.

Remove ScreenScenes

Stop the following ScreenScenes processes:
[XVS]helper.exe
[XVS]setupwebsite.exe
install[XVS]-fsg.exe
uninstall[XVS].exe

Remove the following ScreenScenes registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE[screensavername]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall[screensavername]

Delete the following ScreenScenes files:
[XVS]helper.exe
[XVS]setupwebsite.exe
install[XVS]-fsg.exe
uninstall[XVS].exe
[XVS]helper.ini
