Remove Sachiel

Sachiel Description

Sachiel is a worm that attempts to spread via floppy disks. It shows a fake error message and installs itself to the computer. Then it removes several computer files and places lots of infected files on all hard disks. The worm is written in Visual Basic Script applicationming language and doesn't spread quickly.

Remove Sachiel

To remove all Sachiel files, you must kill all Sachiel processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Sachiel processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Sachiel, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Sachiel registry keys. To remove Sachiel registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareSachiel." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Sachiel. These Sachiel can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Sachiel might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%SachielSachiel.exe. Locate and remove these files.
