Remove Redlof
Redlof Description
Worm Redlof spreads in the Internet by e-mail. It comes in infected messages and installs itself to the computer. It scans hard disks for files of web types and infects them. For spreading it uses Microsoft Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook mail applications. The worm is written in Visual Basic Script language and doesn't remove any software or terminate any processes.
Remove Redlof
To remove all Redlof files, you must kill all Redlof processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Redlof processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Redlof, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
You'll also need to remove Redlof registry keys. To remove Redlof registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareRedlof." Right-click it and select "Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of Redlof. These Redlof can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Redlof might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%RedlofRedlof.exe. Locate and remove these files.
