Redirect Description

Redirect is an Internet Explorer toolbar implemented as IE Browser Helper Object. This application sends URL to its controlling server and then back to the correct location. The Web site can log a user's IP address and visited URLs. It has been reported that Redirect not only shows advertisements but also collects informations about the user.

Remove Redirect

Stop the following Redirect processes:
redirect1.exe
redirect2.exe
redirect3.exe
redirect4.exe
redirect5.exe
redirect6.exe
redirect7.exe
redirect8.exe
redirect9.exe

Remove the following Redirect registry keys:
Browsetothekey:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
Deletethevalueredirect

Delete the following Redirect files:
redirect1.exe
redirect2.exe
redirect3.exe
redirect4.exe
redirect5.exe
redirect6.exe
redirect7.exe
redirect8.exe
redirect9.exe
