Real2000 Server Description
This is a Remote Administration Tool that is used by hackers to control the victim's machine remotely. The possibilities of such applications depend on the needs of the attacker. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A "server" allows him to connect via a "client" on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs can't really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, remove files and even crash your computer. This RAT was created in September 1999.
Remove Real2000 Server
To remove all Real2000 Server files, you must kill all Real2000 Server processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Real2000 Server processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Real2000 Server, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.
You'll also need to remove Real2000 Server registry keys. To remove Real2000 Server registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareReal2000 Server." Right-click it and select "Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of Real2000 Server. These Real2000 Server can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Real2000 Server might create a file like
