OnlinePCGuard is a rogue anti-spyware program that is often downloaded and installed by Trojans, through browser security exploits, or via other nefarious mechanisms. Once it is installed, OnlinePCGuard will launch on Windows startup and may generate hundreds of popup adverts. In addition, OnlinePCGuard may display fake warnings in an attempt to trick you into buying OnlinePCGuard's full commercial version. It is extremely difficult to remove OnlinePCGuard manually because this program may continue to try to recreate itself. OnlinePCGuard is known to be a rebranded version of SpywareQuake, SpyHeal and TrustedProtection.
