A Remote Administration Tool is a special kind of hacker malware, used for remote access and control of other people's PCs. The attacker infects the PC via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing. A "server" allows him to connect via a "client" on his own machine. This RAT tool is a shareware application. The full version costs about 35 dollars. The shareware version can not be classified as very dangerous, because the "server" icon is visible. However the application includes a lot of dangerous functions, such as "keylogger", "file manager", etc. This virus affects Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 operating computers. The pest is compressed with ASPack. It originated in April 2000. The author is a hacker called YingKit.
