Naninf Description

Naninf is an IRC-controlled backdoor that provides the attacker with unauthorized remote access to a compromised PC. The intruder can download and execute arbitrary files, retrieve computer information and update the backdoor. Naninf is able to bypass Windows Firewall. It automatically runs on every OS startup.

Remove Naninf

Stop the following Naninf processes:
csmsv.exe
ssrms.exe


Remove the following Naninf registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER[stringofrandomcharacters]ProtocolDiskChk=ssrms.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunManageProtocolCtrl=%System%csmsv.exe
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunManageProtocolCtrl=%System%csmsv.exe


Delete the following Naninf files:
csmsv.exe
ssrms.exe
