Links Description

Links is an adware application that creates desktop shortcuts pointing to certain Internet resources. Shortcuts are created without asking for user permission. Links regularly contacts a predefined web server to update its configuration settings. The application automatically runs on every Windows startup.

Remove Links

Remove the following Links registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunlinker
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARELinkMaker
