Legend 3.97 Description

This is a RAT tool, used by hackers to gain remote control over someone's PC. The attacker infects his victim via the e-mail or the File and Print Sharing computer with a "server" application. Once inside the computer, the virus opens a default port and awaits commands from the intruder. He can connect using a "client" application on his own PC. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the intruder. This pest originated in April 2002. The origination place is China.

Remove Legend 3.97

To remove all Legend 3.97 files, you must kill all Legend 3.97 processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Legend 3.97 processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Legend 3.97, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Legend 3.97 registry keys. To remove Legend 3.97 registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareLegend 3.97." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Legend 3.97. These Legend 3.97 can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Legend 3.97 might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%Legend 3.97Legend 3.97.exe. Locate and remove these files.
