Key Thief Description

Key Thief is a commercial keystroke logging application that also can take screenshots of user activity. It sends gathered data to a configurable e-mail address. Key Thief is not an actual spyware, but its activity can severely violate user privacy. The keylogger must be manually installed. It runs on every Windows startup.

Remove Key Thief

Stop the following Key Thief processes:
startkey.exe
keyserv.exe
skey.exe
srvcks.exe
remove.exe

Remove the following Key Thief registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunsrvcks
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstallKeyServ

Unregister the following Key Thief DLL files:
ikeyhk2.dll

Delete the following Key Thief files:
startkey.exe
keyserv.exe
skey.exe
srvcks.exe
ikeyhk2.dll
keythf2.ini
remove.exe
