I-Worm.Alanis Description
The Alanis worm spreads by e-mails and peer-to-peer applications. It places its files on a hard disk and runs process, that sends copies of the worm to other users using Microsoft Outlook mail application. It also infects ICQ, KaZaA and some other popular software.
Remove I-Worm.Alanis
Stop the following I-Worm.Alanis processes:i-worm.alanis.exe
Remove the following I-Worm.Alanis registry keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.mcg
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTmcgfile
Delete the following I-Worm.Alanis files:
i-worm.alanis.exe
