Remove Chast

Chast Description

Chast is a backdoor that provides the attacker with unauthorized remote access to a compromised PC. The intruder can control the infected computer and steal user sensitive data. Chast also records user keystrokes, captures online chat conversations and collects computer information. It may install a trojan able to hide Chast running processes. The backdoor automatically runs on every Windows startup.

Remove Chast

Stop the following Chast processes:
win16svc.exe


Remove the following Chast registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunsystem32check


Unregister the following Chast DLL files:
isnsys.dll
isnsys32zx.dll


Delete the following Chast files:
win16svc.exe
isnsys.dll
isnsys32zx.dll
