Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server Description

Originated in September 1999. This hacker tool was created by a Brazilian group called Chacara Corporation. This RAT installs a “backdoor� in victim’s security, allowing the hacker to control the infected machine remotely and stay unnoticed. ). The principle of a RAT application is quite simple: the intruder infects the machine with a “server� application via the e-mail or File and Print Sharing computer and can control it, using a “client� on his PC. Some RAT applications can be judged as a simple hooliganism, but some can seriously damage your computer, or be the main cause of valuable information loss.

Remove Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server


To remove all Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server files, you must kill all Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server registry keys. To remove Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareBackdoor.HackTack.14.Server." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server. These Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Backdoor.HackTack.14.Server might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%Backdoor.HackTack.14.ServerBackdoor.HackTack.14.Server.exe. Locate and remove these files.
