RAT means Remote Administration Tool. It is a application, created for illegal remote accessing and controlling of other people's PCs. This RAT is a threat for all IRC users, because it has the "worm" ability. It means that this application will try to copy itself to any PC, which is not protected well enough. "Worms" usually don't insert themselves in to files, they usually try to replace them. It also has a "downloader" ability. Once the machine is infected, the virus will download a bigger trojan. Remove Backdoor.Ashley


To remove all Backdoor.Ashley files, you must kill all Backdoor.Ashley processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill Backdoor.Ashley processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for Backdoor.Ashley, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove Backdoor.Ashley registry keys. To remove Backdoor.Ashley registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareBackdoor.Ashley." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  Backdoor.Ashley. These Backdoor.Ashley can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Backdoor.Ashley might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%Backdoor.AshleyBackdoor.Ashley.exe. Locate and remove these files.
