Back End Description

This freeware RAT application was designed for gathering vital user information and stealing passwords. The hacker infects his victim's PC with a "server" application which allows him to connect via a client on his own PC. This RAT has a "keylogger" and "password capture" ability. It can also steal video files of different formats. Never versions appeared in the internet from November, 1998 to July, 2004 . The author is a hacker called Compaq. The application was written in Visual Basic. It was designed to infect Windows operational computers.

Remove Back End

Stop the following Back End processes:
backdoor.backend.6.exe
backdoor.backend.60.exe
backend5.exe

Delete the following Back End files:
backdoor.backend.6.exe
backdoor.backend.60.exe
backend5.exe
readme.txt
