BackDoor.JZ Description

Created in July 2003. Such simple but effective malware is used by hackers for getting remote access to user's PC. The principle is quite simple: a "server" secretly installs itself on to your machine and the hacker connects through a "client" on his PC. This is the basic function of a RAT, but it also can have several other functions, which depend on the interests of the attacker.

Remove BackDoor.JZ


To remove all BackDoor.JZ files, you must kill all BackDoor.JZ processes that are running in your computer's memory. To kill BackDoor.JZ processes, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the "Processes" tab, search for BackDoor.JZ, then right-click it and select "End Process" key.

You'll also need to remove BackDoor.JZ registry keys. To remove BackDoor.JZ registry keys, click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type "regedit" into the box, and click "OK". Search for the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareBackDoor.JZ." Right-click it and select "Delete."

Finally, you'll need to manually delete other malware files to clean your PC of  BackDoor.JZ. These BackDoor.JZ can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, BackDoor.JZ might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%BackDoor.JZBackDoor.JZ.exe. Locate and remove these files.
