Abwiz Description

Abwiz, also known as Lager, is a trojan that gives the attacker remote unauthorized access to a compromised PC. It also collects computer information and sends it to a predefined web server. Abwiz has the ability to update itself via the Internet.

Remove Abwiz

Stop the following Abwiz processes:
wisvccz.exe
win32.exe


Remove the following Abwiz registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunwupdate=%System%wisvccz.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunwupd=%System%win32.exe


Delete the following Abwiz files:
wisvccz.exe
win32.exe
